Elizabeth Zelasko
Saint Maria Goretti
I chose to portray Maria as holding the area where she was wounded with one hand and with the other hand, offering the viewer a flower. The flower is white for her purity and red for her martyrdom. She is offering you the opportunity to forgive as she forgave; as Christ himself forgives. Is there anyone in your life you need to forgive?
