Hail Mary, Full of Grace, Punch the Devil in the Face
The original illuminated manuscript from the 1200’s shows the Virgin retrieving the charter (or title) by which a priest had sold his soul.
In my version, the client who commissioned the original painting requested that the charter read, “Forward Motion with the Joy of our Mother”. Such profound words.
Whatever you have placed on this charter in your heart, know that our Lady is watching over it, fiercely.
