Elder Thaddeus of Vitovnica
Father Thaddeus (10 October 1914 – 13 April 2003) was a Serbian Orthodox elder who, like Saint John Paul II, suffered greatly during his life and yet kept a smile on his face that came straight from Christ. Much like Padre Pio, people would walk for miles and miles to come to him for advice. Sometimes the line of pilgrims lasted all day and he would receive ever one of them. Sometimes wearing his voice out to such an extent that he would council his spiritual children in a whisper.
I highly recommend reading his book, "Our Thoughts Determine Our Lives: The Life and Teachings of Elder Thaddeus of Vitovnica". After reading this you will surely feel him advising you in your everyday troubles as his quotes come to you mind.
All you holy men and woman, pray for us.
