Divine Mercy

Did you know that Saint Faustina was not thrilled with the painting of the Divine Mercy image when it was finished? I don't think that it had anything to do with the painting- having seen Jesus herself, I don't believe any painter could have come close to what she saw... Still, it is our job as painters to try. Here is my rendition of the image. I tried to stay as close as I could to the original, fixing minors things as I went. I hope you love it. 
 
The original painting resides in a private collection in Denver, Colorado.
